Unfortunately the failure of the body’s physiology for individuals suffering from Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating, is little understood, and what should be a light evaporation of perspiration to help control temperature, is often a deluge. This sweating is usually unrelated to the ambient temperature and may be exacerbated by many factors such as stress, spicy foods, nicotine, caffeine or even simply meeting people.

An effective antiperspirant is the treatment of first choice; the aluminium chloride preparations are in fact the only formulations able to control Hyperhidrosis. It is important, however, to avoid products with roll-on and felt tip dispensers as they enable perspiration to contaminate the product producing irritating side products. These roll on and felt tip products also contain no emollients or skin hydrating agents to combat the dehydrating effects of their formulations.
